The purpose of LycraTouch is to change the audience from passive to active. The viewer draws a line on the LycraTouch screen. The mark comes alive in a second projection through the use of sound. The vj alters the aesthetic of the line. People from the audience draw lines by pressing their finger on the screen and erase them by briefly resting the palm of their hand on any part of the screen. The soft material and simple movements lead to a pleasant interaction. In just a few gestures, one quickly becomes familiar. The ease of use make a novel experience into a comfortable one. The LycraTouch project is created to support the APV visual software.
